Reception Centre (CA)
This is a residential facility that is intended for the urgent accomodation of children and adolescents in situations of risk. Beyond offering this immediate attention it has to carry out the observation and diagnosis of the personal and family situation that has resulted in the admission and suggest attention measures for the youngsters being cared for.
The centre’s programme covers the activities of daily life, education and leisure, of development, promotion of the person, awareness of the surrounding culture, finding work, relations with the immediate environment and with peers. The reception centre is open 24 hours a day throughout the year. The reception centre (CA) depends on the Departament d'Acció Social i Ciutadania.
