Intensvie Education Residential Centres (CREI)
CREI is a residential resource that responds to the same objectives and aims as CRAE but that is addressed at young people aged between 12 and 18, who require more intensive educational attention.
So, it as much an educational project as the regulation of an internal set of rules and the programme is designed to respond to the necessities that this group presents.
In this sense the programme of the centre is exhaustive and very detailed, and forsees in detail the activities of daily life - training, promoting skills for employment, understanding the natural, social and cultural environment, relations with the immediate environment and with peers - to facilitate the all-round growth of the individual.
The intensive education residential centres have at their disposal professionals for teaching trades and classroom subjects to deliver the centre’s development activities.
The education team work from guidelines in the Projecte Educatiu de Centre (PEC) and the current legal framework, to guarantee the coverage of the basic necessities: education, effectiveness, integration and social awareness, employability and growth towards independence, always remaining aware of the individuality of each young person.
The centre is open 24 hours a day throughout the year.
