Location
The independent living promotion unit is situated in Girona, in a residential area that is within reach of the services required for the youngsters to be able to develop their independence.

6 places for boys.
Ages
From 16 to 18 years of age (broad-ranging centre).
This service develops the independence of youngsters that are at the CA and who are awaiting the protective administrative measure. The education team create a programme of activities that helps the development and follow-up of family, educational, emotional, social and work-related aspects that have arisen in the PEI of every youngster.
Background
Since December 2006 it has been a collaborative service of the Departament d'Acció Social i Ciutadania de la Generalitat de Catalunya. From the start of 2008 it has been run directly by Fundació RESILIS.

Three educators and a part-time cleaner.
